Jay graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in English and then acquired his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Wisconsin Law School. He has worked in the past as an Assistant District Attorney in both Clark County and Kenosha County. Jay has volunteered his time with groups such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Racine, Environmental Committee and Planning Committee of the Town of Caledonia and is currently a member of Kiwanis of Racine (Thursday Noon Group), Plymouth Congregational Church of Racine, Citizen's Advisory Board at the United Way of Racine, and the Republican Party of Racine Board of Directors. He is also currently a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, American Bankruptcy Institute, Racine County Bar Association, Kenosha County Bar Association, and sits on the Vice Chair of Wisconsin Bar Committee on Group and Prepaid Legal Services. eMail: Jay@HarveyNixon.com
